A science communicator working on the dynamic dunescapes project with communities and site managers in Wales. As a PhD candidate I am also involved in research activities which contribute to DEEP (the Dornoch Environmental Enhancement Project), I am also a member of the dive team working to both restore and monitor the development of the restored native oyster reef. My research focuses on carbon sequestration and carbon budgeting as well as the role of biogenic reefs as ecosystem engineers. I am passionate about community engagement and public education.
