I am passionate about all areas of marine conservation particularly the responses of marine animals to anthropogenic disturbance in the marine environment

The main research areas I am interested in are:

  • Coral reef conservation and restoration
  • Behavioural patterns of crustaceans such as cancer pagurus and homarus gammarus
  • Anthropogenic disturbance to migratory marine vertebrates
  • Conservation and restoration of biogenic reefs specifically native oysters and serpula vermicularis reefs
