Cold Room

The temperature-controlled room allows the Marine Station to conduct research which requires a more precise control on temperature or photo-period lighting conditions. The thermo-insulated room is supplied with electricity via 230V electrical sockets, the Marine Station’s raw 20,000 L/hr seawater supply, and various air lines. Temperatures can range from zero to thirty degrees Celsius, allowing replication of a full range of conditions.
