Prof. William (Bill) Sanderson is a Professor of Marine Biodiversity at Edinburgh’s Heriot- Watt University. His research concentrates on sensitive management and sustainable development with a focus on habitats and species of high biodiversity conservation importance. Restoration, Nature Based Solutions, Marine Protected Areas and shellfish habitats are particular focuses.
